(my, aren't I the posty girl today!)

Po' Girl has totally rehabilitated a song for me.. they play a bluesy, minor-key version (as part of another song: What Sad Old Song) that hints at dire consequences it you don't sing when the spirit says sing, and dance when the spirit says dance. . cuz when the spirit says sing, you gotta sing right along. You gotta sing when the spirit says sing.

Makes me think of horror movies. Spooky. But I still want to sing along with the song, which is interesting because I used to hate it. I suppose we sang it too often in school or camp or wherever (I don't really remember where I got overdosed with it, which is a little eerie too.)

I also love the song "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess, especially the Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong version.

That is all.
